How to Get the Perfect Valentine's Day Hairstyle
Valentine’s Day is two weeks away! With the anticipation building it is time to start thinking of how to do your hair for the special day. The key is to keep your look soft and romantic, like Jessica Biel’s style in the picture to the left. While Jessica may be the envy of many, being Justin Timberlake’s paramour, you can create an envious look like her’s easily with a ceramic curling iron. It is important to use a ceramic iron since you don’t want to damage your hair. To get the loose curls that Jessica is sporting, you can put a touch of volumizing mousse in your hair as it air dries. Once hair is completely dry, use a 1/2 inch barrel curling iron to create tendrils all over your head. Dividing your hair into sections will make the process easier. Start from your bottom layers and pin up the top layers. As each layer is complete, lower another section to be curled. Spray each layer with a flexible hairspray as you go. Once your hair is curled all over, let the curls set for at least 15 minutes. You may look like Shirley Temple for this time, but it will be worth it! Spend that time putting on your makeup and getting dressed. Once you are ready to go, gently loosen the curls by finger combing them. Don’t use a brush! Just gently run your fingers through your curls to take out the tightness of the curl. Take a bobby pin and pin back a top layer on one side to show off your beautiful face. Voila! You are ready to court your Cupid!
